The Practical Guide Workshops introduce RHI’s new Practical Guide to Planning, Managing and Policing Hospitality Zones. This guide is a compilation of successful strategies and effective practices from diverse types of North American cities with hospitality zones of all sizes. All participants will receive a complimentary copy of the first edition, an invaluable resource for cities currently facing challenges and for those wanting to anticipate impacts.

The Practical Guide offers opportunities to model or modify winning tactics and provides contact information for those who wish to follow up with the source.
Six distinct two-hour workshops will be held in two sessions. Individuals will have the opportunity to attend one workshop per session.

To fully benefit from the experience, RHI encourages cities to attend the 2020 Vision Leadership Summit with a “team” of stakeholders. Each workshop outlines underlying issues, highlights promising practices and provides a discussion forum for participants to share their own success stories.
