The 1893 World's Columbian Exposition marked the beginning of Chicago's reputation as a center of tourism and entertainment, and today features two baseball stadiums, an arena, one of the largest convention centers and a lakeside amusement park. But few neighborhoods in the nation have seen the evolution of a dining and entertainment district as Lakeview and the area surrounding the historic Wrigley Field.
